Youth Work

Programmes created with experience, empathy, and real understanding.

Our Youth Intervention programmes have been created by Louise Rippon, an experienced facilitator, trainer and practitioner. As a Mum of six, her professional expertise and lived experience bring a unique, compassionate lens to every session.

With a broad understanding of neurodiversity, emotional regulation, and the challenges young people face in school and beyond, Louise has developed a suite of supportive programmes that meet children where they are.

Tap Into Calm™, and Forward Think™, informed therapeutic support have been developed to support a wide range of emotional, behavioural, relational, and wellbeing needs in children and young people. These programmes are being delivered within local setting with excellent outcomes.

Drawing and Talking Informed Therapeutic Support

Drawing and Talking is a national programme that Louise has acquired acreddited practitioner status in.

Chosen for its gentle, structured, trauma-informed therapeutic approach that allows children and young people to explore emotions through drawing, imagination, symbolic play, and therapeutic conversation.

Rooted in the projection theories of Carl Jung, the approach recognises that children often communicate difficult feelings, worries, fears, and experiences symbolically before they are able to verbalise them directly. Through creativity and metaphor, children can safely express and process emotions in a way that feels less overwhelming or exposing.

Intervention Delivery

All sessions are trauma-informed, creative, and inclusive, providing safe spaces where pupils can build confidence, self-regulation, and emotional awareness.

Fully insured and Enhanced DBS checked, Louise is experienced and suitably qualified in local safeguarding up to Designated Safeguarding Lead depth, bringing both professional accountability and a nurturing approach to her work.

These programmes not only empower young people to thrive but also help schools embed sustainable, evidence-led wellbeing practices that make a lasting difference.

Alignment with Ofsted Priorities

All Preziosa Therapia youth programmes, including Tap Into Calm™, Forward Think™, Drawing and Talking informed support, and bespoke intervention packages, are designed to complement schools’ existing wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding frameworks.

Each programme supports key areas within the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, particularly Personal Development, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Leadership and Management.

By embedding evidence-informed, person-centred, trauma-aware practice into everyday school life, these interventions help demonstrate a whole-school commitment to mental health, resilience, and inclusion.

As part of delivery, we supply and manage the reflective and evaluative elements of the programme, providing measurable outcomes and ongoing review cycles aligned with Ofsted’s emphasis on impact, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

These programmes help schools evidence good practice while ensuring every pupil feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.

Drawing + Talking

Therapeutic, creative 1-to-1 support for children and young people who communicate feelings more safely through imagination, play, and creativity.

Drawing and Talking informed support provides a gentle, structured, trauma-informed space for children and young people who may struggle to express emotions verbally or engage through more traditional support approaches. This can include pupils experiencing anxiety, emotional-based school avoidance, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, friendship difficulties, bereavement, or challenges linked to neurodiversity and transition.

Using drawing, symbolic play, storytelling, and therapeutic conversation, sessions help children explore emotions, worries, fears, hopes, and experiences in a way that feels safe, contained, and manageable. The process is child-centred and relational, allowing the young person to work at their own pace without pressure or forced disclosure.

Delivered over a minimum of 12 sessions, the approach helps build emotional safety, trust, confidence, self-awareness, and emotional regulation over time. Sessions may also incorporate gentle grounding techniques, emotional regulation strategies, and reflective therapeutic support where appropriate.

Working in partnership with schools and families, Drawing and Talking informed support offers a compassionate and emotionally safe intervention that helps children feel seen, understood, connected, and more able to engage both emotionally and academically.
